With SMEs being underserved by mainstream banks following the global financial crisis, alternative finance providers have grown to become a vital part of the UK’s financial ecosystem by offering services to viable SMEs that were previously unable to access funding.

Founded in 2011, Reward Finance (Reward) provides secured funding to SMEs for a range of purposes and is differentiated by its flexible approach, rapid decision making and personal relationships with customers. Whilst operating across the UK, Reward’s focus has been on supporting regional economies, with most of its customers located outside of London. Reward is headquartered in Leeds and has four other regional offices.
